Mr. Kasim Malik from Bakul, Uttar Pradesh, had an accident at Rohtak. After consultation, he was shifted to Max Smart Hospital, Saket and was referred to Dr. Kamran Ali. He had blunt chest trauma due to which multiple ribs were fractured on the left side leading to a Flail chest. Due to this injury, there was also leakage of blood and air from his lungs. When he visited Max, Dr. Kamran and the team resuscitated him with a chest tube. Due to intense pain he was also started on multi-modal pain management. Dr. Pramender Agarwal managed the epidural analgesia for pain. The surgery took place the day after where his broken ribs were fixed and chest mechanics were stabilised. With the care and guidance of Dr. Kamran, Dr. Pramender and team, he is well on his way to recovery and out of danger.
