Suitable for prostate sizes between 40–80 grams, controlled steam at 113°C is delivered into the prostate tissue, causing it to shrink gradually over 4–6 weeks. As the gland reduces size, urinary flow improves, and symptoms reduce significantly. This is especially beneficial for elderly patients and those who are unfit for major surgery.
