Dr (Prof) SVS Deo is a renowned surgical oncologist with over three decades of experience in cancer care and surgery. He currently serves as Chairman – Surgical Oncology, and has previously held key leadership roles at premier institutions such as AIIMS, New Delhi, and Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals. He has been honored with several prestigious national and international fellowships, including from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the American College of Surgeons.

Dr Deo has successfully treated more than 50,000 complex cancer patients and has played a key role in introducing advanced cancer surgery techniques in India, including organ conservation surgery, HIPEC, IORT, and oncoplastic procedures. His core areas of expertise include surgical oncology, head and neck cancers, gastrointestinal and breast cancers, precision oncology, and multimodality cancer management. He is also a respected mentor and researcher, with over 250 publications and extensive experience in training cancer specialists across the country.
