What is the Head & Neck Onco-Surgery Programme?

The Head & Neck Onco-Surgery programme is a 1-year fellowship designed for MDS-qualified candidates to gain specialized training in the surgical management of head and neck cancers. This fellowship provides hands-on experience in the surgical treatment of malignancies of the oral cavity, pharynx, larynx, salivary glands, and other structures of the head and neck region. The programme emphasizes both traditional and advanced surgical techniques, including microvascular reconstruction, as well as a multidisciplinary approach involving oncology, radiology, pathology, and post-operative care. Fellows will be trained to manage complex oncologic surgeries, including the resection of tumors, reconstruction, and rehabilitation for head and neck cancer patients.
