What is the GI & HPB Onco-Surgery Programme?
The GI & HPB Onco-Surgery programme is a 1-year fellowship designed to provide specialized training in the surgical management of gastrointestinal (GI) and hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) cancers. The programme focuses on advanced surgical techniques for cancers of the liver, pancreas, biliary tract, stomach, esophagus, and colon. Fellows will gain hands-on experience in complex onco-surgical procedures, including liver resections, pancreaticoduodenectomies (Whipple procedures), esophageal resections, and advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgeries. This fellowship combines clinical training with exposure to multidisciplinary cancer care, including oncology, radiology, and pathology.
